Okeechobee County has 26 COVID-related deaths; Hendry County 42 deaths; Glades County four deaths Okeechobee County has 26th COVID-19 related death

Since testing started, 179 Okeechobee residents and two non-residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been hospitalized, according to the FDOH. Glades County had 46 residents hospitalized. Hendry County had 190 residents hospitalized.

Glades County provides free COVID-19 Testing

The Florida Department of Health of Glades and Hendry Counties will provide free COVID-19 Testing to adults and children over 5 years of age without appointments.

Free walk-up COVID-19 testing Sept. 30

The Florida Department of Health in Okeechobee will offer free walk-up testing for COVID-19 in Okeechobee on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
