A Day in Belle Glade at West County Senior Center

West County Senior Center, located at 2916 State Road #15 in Belle Glade, provides a community focal point where active older persons can socialize and participate in programs and activities which enhance their quality of life, support their independence, and encourage their involvement.

In March, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the senior center closed, and on Wednesday, Oct. 28, and Monday, Nov. 23, they reopened, welcoming seniors back.

West County Senior Center offers a variety of programs and services for seniors, including book discussion groups, arts and crafts, creative writing and language classes, day trips and luncheons, and even fitness and recreation classes.
