WEST PALM BEACH — Join the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) for a virtual WebEx meeting hosted by the Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10 a.m.

Major Leisa Hall, Palm Beach Area Commander with the Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, will be in attendance to talk about the programs and services provided by the Salvation Army. The presentation will also include a broad history of the organization, its international scope, and some fun facts.

Since COVID-19 unexpectedly struck Palm Beach County almost two years ago, no one has remained unaffected. The pandemic has affected every aspect of life, and for families and individuals living in poverty, as well as communities which were already struggling with unemployment, housing, food insecurity, and educational inequalities, the impact has been even greater.

The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County has been able to meet an increased demand for social services and marshal appropriate response to a variety of requests for assistance.

There will be an update on initiatives undertaken by the Office of Community Revitalization to assist the communities it serves.
