Earn your forklift safety certification in one-day at West Tech Educational Center

BELLE GLADE — West Technical Education Center is offering a one-day safety certification in Forklift Operator Safety Training on Thursday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration and payment are processed online at https://tinyurl.com/WestTechForklift. Enter class code 24525, register and submit payment.

The Forklift Operator Safety Training will cover the following:

• This safety certification is required by law for all employees operating a forklift
• This certification meets OSHA standards and must be renewed every 3 years

• Per OSHA regulations,all trainees must be at least 18 years old
• This course is 5-hours in length
○ 2-hour classroom session plus
○ Hands-on instruction and observation for each student

• Hands-on instruction will provide the trainees with operating experience followed by an observation of skills they have learned in the class
• Upon successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a certificate of completion with a 3 year validity
• Course is offered in English and can be offered in Spanish
