BELLE GLADE — This is Shannon’s fourth year at Glades Day School. He is the son of Verlencia Singletary. Shannon has been very active in sports. He was on the varsity football and baseball teams, and he is currently on the track and field team.
In his Senior Spotlight interview, Shannon shared that he has been positively impacted by the people on campus since his first day at GDS. He said that the teachers and faculty always motivate and encourage him to do well while consistently checking on him. He said, “The staff at Glades Day cares about all their students and pushes them to be their best.”
After graduation, Shannon plans to attend Florida Memorial University and study criminal justice.
