JTK Bike Shop is ready for holidays

BELLE GLADE – The mechanics at JTK (Jesus the King) Bike Shop, 233 Avenue A (Goodwill Plaza) in Belle Glade, have been busy getting bicycles ready for their holiday sale. JTK Bike Shop is a nonprofit organization that provides a confidence-building program for children. They take old bicycles donated to the program and repair them or use them for parts. JTK participants learn to build and repair their own bicycles. They also teach new members about bicycles, go on bike rides as a group and share community meals. To raise money for the program, they sell some of the bicycles they repair or build. For more information, go online to www.jtkbikeshop.com or call 561-312-8575. [Courtesy photo]
