Okeechobee Arrest Report
The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Ronald Thompson, 51, Northeast 15th Avenue, was arrested June 26 by ONTF and charged with trespass after warning. The charge came about after he was reportedly seen by a detective stuffing merchandise into his pants. At first, RaceTrac declined to press charges and instead wanted him trespassed but when they realized he was already trespassed from the store, he was arrested. Bond was set at $500.

• Caesar Wright, 48, Northeast 16th Avenue, was arrested June 26 by ONTF and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Wright was the driver of the vehicle Robert Thompson was in when he was arrested at the RaceTrac. Wright was also trespassed from RaceTrac. His bond was set at $5,000.

• Elizabeth Rampey, 35, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested June 28 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Moses Rodriguez, 35, Canal Point, was arrested June 30 by OCSO and charged with DUI. He reportedly refused to give a breath sample. His bond was set at $500.

• Charlene Armstrong, 45, Southwest 11th Way, was arrested June 29 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Breath test results were reported to be .052 and .051. Because the test was below 0.08, she was asked to give a urine sample and agreed. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Jerry Chadwick, 51, LaBelle, was arrested June 29 by OCSO and charged with false imprisonment, battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The arrest occurred after a woman called 911, asked for a pizza and then said there was a man with a gun with her. Bond was set at $41,000.

• Aurrelino Contorino, 41, Okeechobee, was arrested June 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Luke Greeson, 26, Northwest 114th Drive, was arrested June 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Esta Huls, 60, Northwest 42nd Avenue, was arrested June 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Loren Johnston, 35, Northwest 214th Circle, was arrested June 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Barteenia Richardson, 38, Northwest 33rd Avenue, was arrested June 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Warren Williams, Southeast 34th Street, was arrested June 29 by OCSO and charged with domestic battery by strangulation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $241,000.

• Eric Robinson, 28, Reservation Road, was arrested June 28 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Brett Joiner, 35, Northeast Fourth Lane, was arrested June 26 by OCSO and charged with DUI, driving without a license and operating a motorcycle without a license. Bond was set at $5,250.
