Pahokee Middle School celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Posted

PAHOKEE — Pahokee Middle School Student Council celebrated Red Ribbon Day on Friday, Oct. 29. The faculty, staff and students wore red in celebration of Red Ribbon Week. The theme this year was “Drug Free: Looks Like Me." We shared literature with the students the entire week. A drug prevention counselor and Sheriff’s officer assisted with the activities. They highlighted the importance of making healthy and smart decisions throughout life so that their dreams and goals can be achieved. The students signed a Drug Free Pledge, expressing their commitment to a positive and healthy drug free life.
