BELLE GLADE — The City of Belle Glade, Belle Glade Pharmacy and Guardians of the Glades recently partnered together to provide COVID vaccination booster shots to residents at Quiet Waters Assisted Living in Belle Glade. Residents that qualified for the vaccination received it and a $100 gift card from the City of Belle Glade. “It’s imperative that we keep our senior community safe from covid,” said City of Belle Glade Vice Mayor Mary Ross Wilkerson. “They have given so much to this community and now we must give back to them. Bringing vaccinations to them that protect them from covid is just one way that we are committed to caring for our seniors.”
Sixty-one people received the booster shot during this outreach effort.
