Robert was born on September 15, 1968, and raised in Hialeah. He was a resident in Albany, GA before settling in Panama City Beach with his family due to his career.

He knew how to enjoy life in just the right way, as a man of God who loves fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, and bonding with his beloved dog “Blue.” But above all, he loved spending quality time with his family, friends, and those held dearest to him.
Survived by the love of his life, Tonya Simon Hormilla his “Jenny” for 16 beautiful years; his daughters, Amy Bownan (Jason), Daylen Gregors (Trey), and Jordan Chaplik (Zac); his son, Gage Hormilla; his two sisters, Cari Hormilla (Nicole) and Kimberly Torrealba (Reggie); four grandchildren: Josslyn, Landon, Addie, and Stella; his aunt, Connie; and uncles, Jack and Jim.
He was preceded in death by his both his parents George and Carrie Mills, and his beloved nephew Jordan Mills.
