The event was an absolute success. Over 40 graduating Seniors were registered to vote. This means they will have the ability to use their voices in upcoming elections for years to come. Exercising the right to vote is important to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Participating in elections is one of the key freedoms of American life. No matter what you believe or whom you support, it is important to exercise your rights.

The Mu Rho Omega Chapter would like to extend a special thanks to the newly registered voters, the Principal of Glades Central Community High School, Melanie Bolden-Morris, the Women League of Voters along with the Social Justice Initiative Chairman, Tamika Payne and Co-Chairman Alysia Boldin.
