West Palm Beach VA Medical Center expands COVID vaccine eligibility

WEST PALM BEACH — The West Palm Beach VA (WPBVA) is now able to provide COVID-19 vaccines to all Veterans, their spouses and caregivers, and some beneficiaries ahead of the projected May 1 start date!

WPBVA is offering vaccines to the following groups who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine:

  • Veterans, regardless of discharge
  • Spouse of a Veteran
  • Caregivers of a Veteran (For COVID-19 vaccine eligibility, a caregiver is as a family member/friend who provides care to a Veteran – Examples include helping a Veteran with personal needs like feeding, bathing, dressing or with tasks like shopping or transportation)
  • Recipients of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) benefits

Interested Veterans, caregivers and spouses of Veterans can call 561.422.5220 to schedule an appointment across select sites of care or visit the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center (7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410) Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as a walk-in.
