BELLE GLADE — Step one of pre-registration for pre-apprenticeships and trades classes at West Technical Education Center (WTEC) is now open.
In order to register, you must complete the registration form found at https://k-12support.com/registration/wtec.html and attend the suitable orientation date/time.
Orientation for 2021 high school graduates will be held on July 22 from 9 a.m. until noon and again from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. For those who are not a 2021 high school graduate, orientation will be on Aug. 30 – 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Step two will be held at 2625 NW 16thStreet, Belle Glade, FL 33430.
WTEC offers programs such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. If needed, ABE, GED and ESOL classes may be registered for. Class sizes will be limited and enrollment is on a first-come-first-served basis.
