City of Clewiston commissioners call for special meeting

CLEWISTON -- The City of Clewiston special commission meeting has been scheduled for 5 p.m. on March 29, 2021 at 115 West Ventura Avenue in Clewiston.

Included on the agenda for the meeting is the sale of several properties in Commerce Park for construction of a facility for the manufacture of wood and gas fired brick ovens and related equipment, a facility for the manufacture and preparation of natural pet products, and a facility for collection and disposal of biomedical waste.

If you have an issue you wish to discuss at the city commission meeting, you may submit a written request to be included on the commission meeting's agenda. Direct your request to City Clerk Kathy Combass at Kathy.Combass@clewiston-fl.gov or telephone (863) 983-1484.

Regular Commission meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, starting at 5 p.m. in the city hall commission chambers, 115 West Ventura Avenue. Special meetings may be held at the call of the Mayor or by a majority of the Commission.

The current members of the City of Clewiston City Commission are Kristine Petersen, Mayor; Greg Thompson, Vice Mayor; Mali Gardner, Commissioner; Hillary Hyslope, Commissioner; and James Pittman, Commissioner.
