Deputy Maria Aguirre was awarded a Commendation Letter after being nominated by Sergeant Allen Hudson.

Sgt. Hudson expressed his admiration to the deputy for responding to a standby call requested by Clewiston Middle School. He advised she responded to a home where juveniles had not been attending school for some time.

She assisted the family in getting their children’s attendance back on track.
