Designer purse raffle to benefit HMRC

Posted

CLEWISTON - The Hendry Regional Medical Center (HRMC) foundation has various ongoing fundraising projects. One of their biggest fundraisers is an annual fashion show organized by Women Involved in Supporting the Hospital (WISH).

“WISH was developed in 2012 by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated women looking for ways to give back to the community through the Hendry Regional Medical Center Foundation,” explained one of the members. “This non-profit organization was designed to unite women of all ages and backgrounds in an effort to make a difference in promoting healthcare excellence in Hendry County and its surrounding communities.”

This year, in lieu of the 2021 fashion show, WISH has organized a designer purse raffle, all proceeds of which will benefit the Adult Healthcare Scholarship and other needs of HRMC to promote excellence in healthcare locally.

The drawing for the designer purses will be held live at 12:00pm, noon, via Facebook live on Saturday February 6, 2021. Winners will be contacted after the Facebook Live Event, to finalize delivery and pick up of the purses. Shipping will be free to winners if required.

Participants may visit the Clewiston Chamber to view the purses and purchase tickets on Feb 1, 2. Masks are required.

Raffle tickets for the purses can also be purchased online, until February 6.

HRMC’s other fundraising projects include:
Bricks Sales displayed at Clewiston and LaBelle ($100 to $150 each)
Naming Opportunites - For Clewiston & LaBelle
Pledges - three to five years ($1,500 +)
