Elks Lodge honors veterans

CLEWISTON -- Clewiston Elks #1853 hosted their annual Veterans Appreciation Ceremony and Dinner on Nov. 17. Marty Espinosa introduced nine veterans who attended and were recognized for their service. Payton Grace Lee sang the National Athem beautifully. The Clewiston High School Service Academy performed the folding of the Flag, telling the meaning of each fold. Frank Sellers, Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS)  representative from West Palm Beach, spoke to the crowd and gave  out toy soldiers. After the ceremony all enjoyed a great meal provided by Les Baucum, Bobby and Danielle Soles.
