Everglades Agricultural Area Phosphorus Best Management Practices Training scheduled

The UF/IFAS will hold an Everglades Agricultural Area Phosphorus Best Management Practices Training online beginning Feb. 5 through Sept. 30. This is a free self-paced training course.

The target audience for this class includes Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) growers, farm personnel, water managers, and pesticide and fertilizer applicators.

The goals of the online workshop are to review and discuss the operating principles of the EAA Best Management Practices (BMP) program and provide participants with the latest implementation information. Pesticide Continuing Education Units (4 CEUs) will be offered to workshop participants.

Andres Rodriguez - UF/EREC Particulate and Sediment Controls
Samira Daroub - UF/EREC BMP Research Update

Please register online, create a username and password and log on to the class website. The class is free and self-paced. A short quiz is required to get a certificate of completion as well as pesticide CEUs for those who need it.
