CLEWISTON- Now that school is out foe the summer, many young students are looking for something to do. The Clewiston Explorers have extended an invitation to anyone interested in learning more about careers in law enforcement.

Although the maximum age is 20, most of the Explorers are in middle school or high school.

"You don’t have to have the desire to become a police officer," explained the invitation. "All you need is to be 10 years old and have completed fifth grade. Even if you graduated this week, you qualify."

Stop by and check out the Explorer Program,

Explorer meetings are held every Thursday night at 4:30 p.m. at the Clewiston Police Department which is located at 300 South Berner Road in
Clewiston.
