Hendry County announces Waste Amnesty Week

HENDRY COUNTY — Hendry County Waste Management in Conjunction with the City of LaBelle and the City of Clewiston, will be hosting a week-long amnesty for Hendry County residents April 17 - April 22.

Residents will be asked to provide a valid driver’s license to ensure they reside in Hendry County.

No commercial waste accepted. Restricted to two loads or two tons.

Accepted waste includes:
• Yard waste: no single branch or limb larger than 4ft. long & 4in. in diameter
• Construction debris: lumber, shingles, drywall, glass, tiles, wire, etc

• White goods: washers, stoves, water heaters, etc
• Furniture: sofas, mattresses, chairs, etc
• Tires: tires without rims limited to 1-4 tires

You can drop off your waste at the following locations:

Clewiston Transfer Station
1350 Olympia Ave.

Mon – Fri from 7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. & Sat 7 – 11:30 a.m.

LaBelle Transfer Station
1280 Forestry Division Road
Mon – Fri from 7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. & Sat 7 – 11:30 a.m.
