Hendry County Sheriff's Office welcomes two new communications officers

LABELLE -- The Hendry County Sheriff's welcomes Tereza Domingo and Guadalupe Lopez to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Communications Unit.
 
Both girls are 2018 graduates of Clewiston High School and reside in Hendry County.
 
While in High School, both Tereza and Guadalupe participated in the Criminal Justice Class at Clewiston High, Tereza was enrolled in the program for 4 years and completed the E911 Training.
 
Both girls recently completed a 240-hour E911 Telecommunications – Public Dispatch Course, thru SW Florida Workforce Development, as required by FSS 401.465, and will be taking the State Examination during the upcoming week.
 
Upon the successful passing of the Florida State Exam, both Tereza and Guadalupe will become "911 Public Safety Telecommunicator Dispatchers."
