Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center open Monday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Sept. 27

LABELLE -- In order to assist residents who are preparing their property in advance of potential tropical weather later this week, the Hendry County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center will be open for residential waste from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the following locations:

· LaBelle - 1360 Forestry Division Road

· Clewiston - 1381 Evercane Road

HHW is accepting residential waste ONLY, please do not bring commercial waste.

For additional HHW information, please call Hendry County Special Districts at 863-675-5252.

Hendry County officials are monitoring the storm and will provide any additional information as needed throughout the course of the event.
