LABELLE — La Leche League of Hendry County (LLL) will hold  in-person breastfeeding support meeting on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. at Barron Library, 461 N Main St. in LaBelle.

Virtual meetings will be available every second Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

LLL Monthly Series Meetings are informal, open-ended discussions about breastfeeding and related aspects of parenting.

Each meeting covers one of four general topics that repeat three times each year. However, the specifics of the topic, the mothers in attendance, and where you are in your breastfeeding journey ensure that no two meetings are alike.The meetings will cover the following topics:

• The importance and value of breastfeeding,

• Breastfeeding in the early days and family dynamics,

• Breastfeeding basics and avoiding/overcoming difficulties,

• Nutrition, starting solids, and weaning.
