CLEWISTON — The Elks Soccer State Championship was held on Saturday, Jan. 8, in Umatilla. Julian Santiago, from Clewiston, won the U-10 Boys title and Sofia Velasco, from Okeechobee, was the U-8 Girls Champion. Jairo Santiago, from Clewiston, placed second in U-8 Boys.

Julian Santiago and Sofia Velasco will represent the Florida Elks at the Elks State Soccer Shoot Championship to take place in Umatilla on Saturday, Jan. 22. Champions from North Carolina and Georgia will travel to the Elks Camp.
