A 79-year-old Pembroke Pines man died in a motorcycle crash in Hendry County at 2:48 p.m. on Jan. 18, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

Motorcyclist dies in crash in Hendry County

HENDRY COUNTY --  A 79-year-old Pembroke Pines man died in a motorcycle crash in Hendry County at 2:48 p.m. on Jan. 18, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

According to the FHP report, the motorcycle was traveling east on State Road 80 near Everhigh Acres Road when the motorcyclist failed to negotiate a curve to the right, traveled off the road and collided with a guardrail.

The motorcyclist was  pronounced deceased on scene.
