Oct. 26 is the final day for storm debris pickup in Hendry County

LABELLE — Residents in unincorporated Hendry County are asked to place all remaining storm debris in the right of way for pick up no later than Wednesday, Oct. 26 as the county’s contracted debris hauler will soon complete their final pass.

• Stack it separately from garbage or building debris.

• Place it in piles that can easily be managed by collection personnel with a claw truck.

• Do not place any waste below or over obstacles such as trees or powerlines or near hydrants or mailboxes.

• Do not place debris over downed power lines or fire hydrants.

Construction debris, horticulture and other miscellaneous debris may be picked up at different times.
