Property appraiser launches new website

Posted

HENDRY COUNTY- A new website has been launched, this week, by the Hendry County Property Appraiser. The website will continue to provide pertinent property information, with improved search tools, quick links, a larger view of the sketch, and an upgrade to the site’s tax calculator. They are also in the process of adding more informational layers to their maps.

“It is very exciting to introduce to you our new website! Much thought and preparation has gone into providing you, our customers, the most innovative website available,” said Dena Pittman, Hendry County Property Appraiser.“There are new features along with the same important information many have grown accustomed to finding on our site.”

The website vendor is Schneider Geospatial, commonly known as QPublic, explained Pittman, “This company services 30 counties in the state of Florida, and all the counties that use our CAMA system. They use the most updated technology in data collaboration. It is a shared partnership between them and us.”

“We already have a vast variety of users, our website is often considered the “411” of property information,” said Pittman. “The new website will provide the most current information, and will be updated nightly. Another great aspect is that it is now mobile device friendly. As working environments have changed, it is our goal to provide you with the best services possible in an on-line, on-the-go world.”

The new website is definitely user-friendly, and easy to navigate. It continues to provide aerials, both current and historical. Photos are available for the improved parcels. It also now provides a “street view” using Google Maps.”

“This website is an extension of our office and we hope you find it as informative and helpful as visiting one of our locations,” said Pittman. “It is our goal to serve you with the most up-to-date data in a way that is easy to use. Please enjoy navigating through the site, and if you are looking for something you can’t seem to locate, call us and we will be happy to assist!”
