Survey Work begins April 7 on Carolina Avenue and Florida Avenue

CLEWISTON — Beginning Wednesday, April 7, 2021, Hendry County’s consultant, CivilSurv Design Group, Inc., will be conducting survey work for future sidewalks on Carolina Avenue from 13th Street to 11th Street and Florida Avenue from 10th Street to Seventh Street in Harlem.

Flagmen will be present to direct traffic when necessary.

The speed limit will be reduced through the project area.

Motorists should expect lane closures and possible delays throughout the duration of the operations and allow extra time for their commute.

Motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

Survey work operations begin on Wednesday, April 7, and continue throughout the duration of the project. Hours will vary.

Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The Hendry County Engineering Department will notify of any changes.
