Due to the possible effects of Tropical  Storm Nicole, the Health Departments in Hendry and Glades Counties (LaBelle, Clewiston, and Moore Haven) will be closed Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 9 and 10. In addition,  they will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day. The Health Departments are expected to reopen Monday, Nov. 14. 

The Florida Department of Health continues to coordinate with local emergency managers for resource requests and is on-site at the State Emergency Operation Center in Tallahassee ready to respond to Tropical Storm Nicole.
