GLADES COUNTY — Currently there are no vaccine distribution dates for this week in Glades County. Glades County currently has no vaccines on hand to distribute. Last week 790 individuals were vaccinated at the Glades County Health Department. The Department of Health’s phone lines continue to be overwhelmed by the volume of calls they are receiving. Glades County Emergency Management is working with the health department on a possible solution to help streamline the registration/appointment process. Updates will be posted at www.myglades.com under the COVID-19 tab and also through a media release when vaccines and appointments become available. Residents are asked to please continue to be patient as they continue to work through the logistics of getting the vaccine distributed.
