Glades County man faces drug charges

MOORE HAVEN – The Glades County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions conducted a search warrant Jan. 8 at a residence in Moore Haven after an extensive investigation by deputies into the sale of illegal narcotics. 26-year-old, Roytone Smikle, was arrested and charged with the following:
• Trafficking in oxycodone (27.8 grams),
• Trafficking in methamphetamine (390 grams),

• Possession of oxycodone with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a place of worship,
• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a place of worship,
• Possession of marijuana (173 grams), and,

• Operation of a drug house.
He will be held without bond until his First Appearance Hearing.
