FORT MYERS — “Glades County Sheriff David Hardin and Captain Mike Pepitone were both honored last night at the Back The Blue & Green Banquet in Fort Myers,” the sheriff’s office posted on its Facebook page Tuesday, Dec. 1. “These men were presented plaques for their dedication and appreciation of the program by Vincent Stephen. The program was designed to help end suicides among our men in women in the military as well as first responders, to include law enforcement, fire rescue and EMS. We want to thank Vincent and the Back the Blue & Green family for their service to the military, law enforcement, first responders and the community as a whole. Keep up the great work.” If anyone wishes to learn more about this program, visit them on Facebook or at backtheblueandgreen.org.
