Glades County welcomes new teacher

Posted

MOORE HAVEN -- Glades County has yet again found a wonderful new addition in the hiring of Kelly Terebieniec.

Terebieniec is coming to Glades County School District with 22 years of experience and has taught on all levels from college down to elementary.

She is a certified teacher (K-12) and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She also has a Master’s of the Arts Degree in Sport Administration and has a very successful competitive cheer and dance background as well as teaching career. Many of her students have gone on to collegiate dance programs, NBA dance teams, a few on Broadway, and some are coaching in dance or cheer.

She has judged Florida all star state dance competitions and is best known for story telling in her dance pieces on stage, compassionate pieces about love and kindness, and for teaching acrobatics. She has a passion for the arts and loves putting on shows and feels that the expression of the arts is so important in a child’s life -which helps in building teamwork, work ethic, and confidence. She is looking forward to working with all levels and putting Glades County on the map for the State of Florida for dance and the arts
