MOORE HAVEN — Glades County Public Library, Library Advisory Board and Friends of the Library are excited to present the newest addition to Moore Haven’s landscape, “The Tiny Library.” The Tiny Library can be found along Riverside Drive near the Lone Cypress.
The Tiny Library is the first of what organizers hope will be more tiny libraries around Glades County. Books are free to all with the idea of “Take a Book, Leave a Book.” No library membership or checkout is required to take a book. The inventory of books should be ever changing!
Due to the pandemic, the Glades County Public Library is open for curbside service Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The installation of the Tiny Library allows the opportunity to provide an option to those who desire to read and an exposure to our area for those traveling by waterway on the Caloosahatchee River.
Members of the Glades County Public Library, Library Advisory Board and the Friends of the Library are looking forward to installing more Tiny Libraries in the future to our Glades County community areas!
We also want to thank Moore Haven city’s employees for all they did in helping set the Tiny Library up.
Stop by and check it out!
