Glades schools seek feedback on Guardian Program

Posted

MOORE HAVEN -- The Glades County School District will hold a public input workshop regarding the Guardian Program. This will allow the community to give their input on the Guardian Program and their support or rejection of the program. Each speaker will be allotted three minutes to speak. We will be able to accommodate up to 35 speakers. This meeting will be held Sept. 22, 2022, from 4 4 to 6 p.m. The meeting will be at the Glades County District Office in the School Board Meeting Room, 400 10th Street.

If you cannot attend, you are welcome to email Dr. Barfield @Beth.Barfield@Glades-Schools.org with your thoughts, concerns, and opinions!

The Guardian Program would allow certain school district employees, who have undergone extensive background as well as psychological exams, to be armed on school property.
