Lake Okeechobee News has a new deadline for submitting community events for the print edition of the paper.
We will need all submissions at least a week in advance of the date that the paper will be issued. That is seven days prior to the date that is printed on the paper. For example, for the issue published on 22nd of the month, all events need to be submitted no later than the 15th day of the month.
The Community Events column runs news from local organizations and clubs at no charge, on a space available basis. To qualify for this column, the event MUST be open to the public.
Submit news by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours please call 863-763-3134.
