One-time, cut-rate opportunity for Everglades ‘Eco Preservation Tour’

Posted

EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK — A very unique alternative activity is being offered in South Florida on Election Day of this troubled year of 2020, down deep in the Everglades, out of West Miami. It is sure to soothe souls, but to join in, anyone who wants to go must act quickly.

The Eco Preservation Project (EPP), a Native American-based educational foundation-type organization, is welcoming another up to 25 lucky souls to join in on a guided, narrated, airboat tour of scientific discovery into the Miccosukee and Seminole native South Florida lands. Those who sign up will go into vestiges of the ancient marshes in the southern Everglades that still remain much as the Great Spirit made them, unspoiled by modern development.

And they’ll be accompanied by a scientist/educator known best as “Captain Planet” (Garrett Stuart) and his aunt, the legendary Betty Osceola.

After the 9 a.m. morning tour sold out (capacity was 25) within hours of the announcement appearing on the EPs social media pages on Friday, Oct. 23, Stuart and his aunt decided to add an afternoon tour as well, so as to give others the opportunity. However, on Saturday morning he posted that only a few seats remained.

Normally, the private eco-tours they conduct cost in the hundreds of dollars, but for this one event they slashed their prices to give more people the opportunity.

If you’d like to sign up or learn more about the EPP, go to:

• or, the website — http://www.ecopreservationproject.com/

This event, Stuart says, is an “EPP Day — where Planeteers that want to tag along ... it can be more affordable for you and your kiddos! We can only fit 25 people on the tour, so comment below if you are interested in booking and I will PM you the price! It will be a “first paid, first served” kinda thing. So book quickly!”

They promise it will be a “magical day.”
