Supervisor named Elections Professional

MOORE HAVEN — During the Florida Supervisor of Elections conference held in Tampa in June, Supervisor Aletris Farnam of Glades County was named as one of the Master Florida Certified Elections Professionals. Supervisor Farnam began taking classes in February of 2019 and completed the course in April of 2021. She is one of 32 out of 67 Supervisors to hold this certification. This program is offered through the Florida Institute of Government.

Both employees in the election’s office are currently taking these classes. Supervisor Farnam has a career commitment to continuing professional development offered though this FCEP Program, for upholding Florida Supervisor of Elections core values and for the service to the electoral process.
