Twin alligators hatch at Gatorama

Posted

PALMDALE – Gatorama celebrated the annual Alligator Hatching Festival Aug. 13-29.

Guests had a chance to hold alligator egg as they hatched.  Gatorama adhered to CDC guidelines including protocols on the number of people at a gator hatching station and sanitizing stations between visitors.

On Aug. 14, a little boy named Caesar was one lucky guest hatcher. His egg produced identical twins. “This is only the third time that we can remember that one of our guests had twins!” Gatorama shared on Facebook. The twin gators are doing well and growing fast, according to Gatorama staff.

The dates of the annual festival depend on Mother Nature, explains the Gatorama website. The baby gators hatch when they are ready.
