Arts of the Inland board members, Nancy Hendrickson, Marty Cowen, and Karen Costantino, recently met with Florida Everglades photographer Clyde Butcher at his newest gallery at St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota. The remarkable story of his success began with the death of his son by a drunken driver. To quote Mr. Butcher, “…it was to the wilderness I fled in hopes of regaining my serenity and equilibrium. The mysterious spiritual experience of being close to nature helped to restore my soul.”

The intimate beauty of the environment is reflected in all his fine art black and white photography which now includes America’s national and state parks.

Arts of the Inlands is working to bring Clyde Butcher and his incredible photography to the Barron Park House Gallery in the coming year.
