Brush fire in Pioneer Plantation

This message was shared by the Hendry County Sheriff's Office on March 29 around 5:30 p.m.: Hendry County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Pioneer, LaBelle and Clewiston Fire Department, Lee County Strike Team and Division of Forestry are currently on scene of a large brush fire in the area of Pioneer 15th Street and Christopher Lane.

Deputies are stopping traffic at Homestead Avenue and Pioneer 14th Street, in the Pioneer Plantation community; residents who live in the area of Pioneer 15th Street and Christopher Lane will be permitted access to their homes.
