The City of LaBelle Election was held on July 17. Early voting was from July 7 to July 14. The election had a very low voter turnout of 11.18 percent. Of the 2039 registered voters only 228 cast their ballots. Thomas A. Smith was reappointed as Clerk Commissioner as there were no other candidates for that position. The position of Treasurer Commissioner was a very close race between Hilda Zimmerly and Cindy Pearce. With 115 total votes for Zimmerly and 113 for Pearce, Hilda Zimmerly was reelected as Treasurer Commissioner.
