Delta Kappa Gamma members met on Monday, November 4, at Beef O’Brady’s, for their scheduled business meeting. Member Ann Daniel was recognized for recently receiving her Doctorate degree from the American College of Education. Dr. Daniel currently works at LaBelle High School. She presented an overview of her dissertation to the members present and explained the results of her research. The focus of the research was S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and her published results were entitled Evaluating Assessment Formats with Critical Thinking Skills in a High School Physics Lesson.
Members also mourned the loss of our beloved friend and colleague, Michaelyn Zorn, who passed away on October 30. Memories were shared with a lot of love, a little laughter, and great sorrow.
