Do you ever wish you had a little bit more spending money? Do you have a talent for creating unique products but don’t know how to go about selling them? Are you a crafter or artist wanting to set up an online business? Barron Library is offering an informational class on setting up your own Etsy site.
The class will be taught by Hir Mobley, a successful business woman, selling her products on Etsy. We are offering two sessions, the first on Monday, March 12, will be basic information about how to begin and what preparations need to be made before setting up your site, the second, a few weeks later, to actually get your business up and running.
Etsy is an e-commerce website featuring handmade or vintage items and supplies, hosting more than 54 million users and registered members.
On Monday, March 19, Mrs. Mobley will offer a training class about another platform available to sell personal items. If you ever wanted to make a bit of income just from cleaning out your closets, this may be for you.
Both Monday evening classes will begin at 6:00 p.m., and last until 7:30 p.m. Call the library at 863-675-0833, to register, or stop in to add your name to the list. There is no fee for either class.
