Friday Night on Fort Thompson returned in a “Groovy” way on Friday, Oct. 3, despite the rain. High Lonesome preformed to a sizable crowd as vendors sold their wares. Kelly Boone, executive director of LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC), said: “We compensate the bands that perform for Downtown Live. At our kickoff concert on Friday, Stephanie Sposato and the High Lonesome band graciously donated that $500 back to LDRC. The board was so surprised and thankful! We also want to thank everyone that joined us; it was so great to see everyone again, and we cannot wait until next month.” Pictured at the shirt tie-dying station are LDRC board member Christine Eaton and Eli Austin.
