Guilty or Not Guilty?

(Courtesy photo/Firehouse Community Threatre) The debate over a man’s guilty heats up in this play by the Firehouse Community Theatre’s performance of 12 Angry Jurors.

The Firehouse Community Theatre’s well-performed, perfectly casted production of the classic riveting drama, Twelve Angry Jurors, is a must see. Incorporating precise but minimal set design and absolutely marvelous performances, the cast of local actors portray each of their character’s distinct personalities, flawlessly. The overheated and cramped jury room comes alive, in this courtroom drama as the characters begin arguing, testing, reviewing every detail of the case upon the small stage, leaving the audience to contemplate the fragility of justice.

Those who already know the story, will certainly enjoy this portrayal. As for those who aren’t familiar with this classic tale, I have purposely avoided giving anything away, and you’re in for an excellent surprise.

The play will be presented for a second weekend, March 29, 30, 31, 2019 (Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m., Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.) Firehouse Community Theatre, 241 N. Bridge Street, LaBelle, Tickets are $14 advance/$16 at the door. Get your tickets now at www.firehousecommunitytheatre.com or call the ticket hotline at (863) 675-3066.
