Mark your calendars and get your tickets fast! The Greater LaBelle Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Give Away Dinner “Run for the Roses” will be held on March 11. This year, the LaBelle Chamber is inviting ladies to don your dresses and large, elaborate hats! Gentlemen, feel free to dress up as jockeys! Or, for those not interested in the “character” part of the event, come as a spectator – casual and comfy!

The Kentucky Derby themed event will take place at the LaBelle Civic Center. Cocktails will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with the dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $135 for two amazing steak dinners prepared by the well-known Hendry County Cattleman’s Association. Sponsorship tables for $650 include dinner for eight. Along with over $6000 in cash giveaways, there will be a silent auction, a “My Old Kentucky Home” get away weekend, a “My Fair Lady” hat contest, a huge 50/50 drawing and a fun photo booth.

Each year, the Greater LaBelle Chamber of Commerce hosts this fun theme-based dinner in order to raise funds that will be used to help promote local businesses. With membership, the chamber strives to assist with the needs of all member businesses – both small and large. The chamber offers early bird socials, guest speakers, and advertisements as well as events such as Night on the Town.
