LABELLE -- On July 11, LaBelle Fire Chief Brent Stevens awarded three firefighters with an Act of Bravery Award.

The three firefighters,  Alex Martin, Logan Mungillo and Jose Juarez, quickly acted on an incident that left a victim in distress, suspended 45-feet in the air while in a high lift. The firefighters were able to access the victim, secure the victim and safely assist the victim down to safety where medical treatment was declined.

Please join in on saying congratulations to the firefighters that devote their lives to saving the residents of Hendry County and the City of Labelle!
