At the request of Hendry County, the Florida Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services (FDACS) will be conducting aerial adult mosquito control operations over Hookers Point, CR720 Vicinity, Montura Ranch Estates, Flaghole, Pioneer Plantation, LaDeca, Felda, Airport-Sears, South LaBelle, Double J Acres, Ft. Denaud, Ft. Denaud Acres, Northwest Hendry County, Caloosa Estates, North LaBelle, Wheeler Road Community, Harlem, Port LaBelle, City of Clewiston and the City of LaBelle the week of September 25, 2017.

The insecticide to treat for adult mosquitoes is approved for application by the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Florida. This operation will be conducted by one of FDACS’ contractors.
