Alondra Reyna Lopez is a 2018 graduate of LaBelle High School. She’s a scholarship recipient of the Kiwanis Club of LaBelle and returned to thank the club for helping her toward her degree at FSU in Tallahassee. Her goal is to earn a doctorate in psychology to help troubled teens in low income neighborhoods to avoid criminal activity. She is an amazing young lady with a 4.0 GPA while participating on the FSU Cross Country team. She is blessed to be a member of the FSU’s world-renowned Marching Chiefs. They were the only collegiate band to participate in France’s D-Day Normandy Parade, marking the 75th anniversary of the bold mission during WWII. It is the third time in the bands’ 80 year history that the band has performed overseas. Congratulations to Alondra who is returning to campus this week to continue her dedicated hard work both scholastically and continuing to participate in track and band. With her determination she is making a difference in her life and will become a leader helping youth believe in themselves. So they know they are worthy and can also make a difference.
